About MindSteal
Content that steals your attention. We make curiosity a habit — and we do it honestly.
What we publish
MindSteal is an independent curiosity publication. We write about the strange ways the world works and the even stranger ways your brain makes sense of it: psychology, science, optical illusions, history, space and the human body. Alongside the stories you’ll find brain teasers with full explanations and quizzes you can share with friends.
Our editorial promise
- Every factual claim is sourced. We favour peer-reviewed research, scientific institutions, universities, government publications and primary historical documents, and we list our sources on every story.
- We label how strong the evidence is. Established findings, limited studies, hypotheses and myths are marked clearly, especially in psychology.
- No invented anything. No fake quotes, statistics, studies or experts. If we can’t verify a claim, we cut it.
- Curiosity without clickbait. Our headlines aim to intrigue, never to mislead.
- Fun is labelled as fun. Personality quizzes are entertainment, not psychological assessments, and nothing here is medical advice.
How we make money
MindSteal is free to read. We plan to support it with clearly labelled advertising, sponsored content and affiliate links. Sponsored stories are always marked as sponsored, affiliate links are disclosed, and advertisers never decide what is true.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix them and update the story’s “updated” date. If you spot an error, please contact our editors.
